Done a Frexit, now in London
No injuries or further suspensions I think.

Cold, wet miserable afternoon in the library. But as mentioned on another thread, I'd rather be in Brightons position than Burnleys.

Clothes mostly dried out on the walk back to Woodingdean afterwards
I haven’t wasted hours looking on social media for our goals, support etc
Spent the afternoon with junior, not seen him for several days
I don’t have to bother with MOTD so get an early night
We’re unlikely to be that poor again this season

As a person who hates Newcastle with the type of passion that only a bloke who had a geordie try to nick his girlfriend 2 weeks before marrying her friend can have, I was happy that our dire performance still means that Burnley can catch the Geordie *****

Hopefully not the junior that posts on here!

My bet on an away win as soon as Webster was also out only one winner. Interestingly I remember a game I went to after another bad storm home to Preston under Liam Brady another shit show and a loss.

Has Burnley and Watford getting unexpected wins to take the smug look off Newcastle fans faces been mentioned on here? That’s a positive surely?

The M27 smart motorway is now open and no cones and 50 mile limit for miles!

That really is the only plus point!
.
It comes to something when the opening of a new lethal 'smart' motorway is regarded as a day's only positive. Still I suppose it's mildly positive that this will be the last of these death-traps that will be opened.

It's certainly made the faces of Brentford, Leeds and Everton a little less cheery.

Brentford have played at least 2 more games than everyone below them, their next 3: H Newcastle, A Norwich, H Burnley.

What is a “smart” motorway?

Although it reminded me of the kind of hopelessness I frequently felt after watching a game at Gillingham so dire was our performance, the fact is it wasn't Gillingham, we are still 9th in the Premier League playing in a wonderful stadium that is ours and normally playing the best football ever seen by an Albion team!! I therefore reminded myself that I needed to apply some perspective, to self-flagellate and to stop being such a drama queen!!

Sorry, serious reply this time. The previous hard shoulder ('breakdown lane') converted into a driving lane. Short breakdown lay-bys positioned every mile or so. Any vehicle broken down in the live lane is supposedly spotted by cameras and that lane is then 'closed' via overhead signage. The problem is that a smallish car, newly broken down, is in severe danger of being crushed by upcoming traffic from behind...and it's happened. A number of people have been killed. The roll out of 'smart' motorways is being suspended, too late for some sadly.
