He’s put in a hell of a shift. Playing as a deep 10, Ireland have been forced so deep at times he’s been playing almost next to Duffy, yet the next second has to be up front with Idah. Doubt if any player covered more yards than him. Finishing though disappointing. Remains an enigma of a player, lots of good, lots of bad

Regardless of his performance this is very useful for us. Gives Connelly a really workout and plenty of game time. There's a good footballer in there.
