I dont like Bo Selecta either. There have been, maybe, 1 or 2 funny sketches - and the rest is pure tripe.

Only Fools and Horses...its ok I suppose, but can't say I've ever rolled around pissing meself at it. It seems almost sacrosanct and above criticism though, for some reason.

As for films - I just can't understand all the fuss around Harry Potter. I know fans of the books cream themselves over it, but whats so brilliant about a pre-pubescent wizard who goes to boarding school ? I must be missing something.

Allie McBeal - one look at her maundering around onscreen and I just wanted to smack her!

Friends - a little went a long way. And it went on far, far, too long.

Coronation Street - what's the point now that Minnie Caldwell & Ena Sharples are dead?

Emmerdale - what was ever the point?

Will & Grace? Was that ever actually popular? I agree with Allie McBeal too.

I personally like Friends, Corrie and East Enders.

The Office (Never got into it, Ricky Gervaise does my head in, sorry to all the fans!)
Friends - in fact most American programmes, e.g Frasier, Buffy, etc.

At least, amongst all the hype, you didn't also discover you'd spawned Harry Potter's double! He's only waiting until they make whichever sequel needs a 6ft 3in Luvvie to play the title role. Because in some very small way it would make up for the constant " 'ere, it's Harry Potter!" catcalls he's been getting for the last 3 years...

That is unfortunate. How many times will he have to be asked "show us your scar then", before he snaps ?

The Office - funny? :nono:

Matrix - what the hell is that all about? I started watching it while flying on holiday. I can honestly say that's the only time I've ever fallen asleep on a plane.

The film I can't stand that everyone else raves about is Goodfellas.

Time it came out I'd already seen about a squillion gangster films along the same lines and they don't go on half as long.
