You’ve got a strange idea of extreme! The Guardian is hardly the Socialist Worker. My preference is not as sinister nor complex. I simply avoid extreme news outlets, whether they be left or right biased.

Point of order, Nazareth to Bethlehem is the same country.
Where does the Peoples Front of Judea come into it?[pedant alert] They are now but at the time of the birth of Jesus, Nazareth was in Galilee, while Bethlehem was in Judea. Galilee became part of the Judean province in 6 CE (six years or two year after - depending what you believe - the birth of Christ).
Not sure what that has to do with shopping for milk though ...
I was wondering about that. I noticed that Is It Potg?Potty loves you today. Another thumbs up. Heartwarming.

There is no danger of being killed by a car stuck in the shop window. There is no point hand wringing and getting upset about things that might have happened, but didn't.It's this quote that amazes me "One passing dog walker said: "It's ridiculous when will drivers learn. Residents now can't use the shop."
No concern about the dangers on the road, that someone could have been killed? Just the inconvenience of not being able to shop there. Unbelievable
Unless you happen to be looking in the shop window moments before the 2 tonnes of completely inappropriate car magically became stuck there. There is no danger of being killed by a car stuck in the shop window.
Why have the residents of the flats above been evacuated? Their homes are unsafe, until the vehicle is recovered and the bulding made safe with repairs. There is no danger of being killed by a car stuck in the shop window. Yes window shopping should come with a drink awareness noticeUnless you happen to be looking in the shop window moments before the 2 tonnes of completely inappropriate car magically became stuck there.
But you are correct, someone being unable to control said vehicle is a laughing matter and nothing to worry about.
Thank heavens the courts will see it very differently...
...oh.
Some people just can't handle the tofu.Extreme? The Guardian extreme? Put the pipe down!!
When you're driving or walking along and you see the aftermath of an accident, do you take avoiding action in case the crashed car kills you? The crash had already happened. There was no need for the passer-by to worry about whether he was going to be stuck between the car and the shop window.Unless you happen to be looking in the shop window moments before the 2 tonnes of completely inappropriate car magically became stuck there.

Ah so it was just a simple case of you completely missing the point HA was making. When you're driving or walking along and you see the aftermath of an accident, do you take avoiding action in case the crashed car kills you? The crash had already happened. There was no need for the passer-by to worry about whether he was going to be stuck between the car and the shop window.
