News spreads through that things are looking up and the website is back up and running.

...

It's not just the media-whore Westwood though is it- there's plenty of other morons to laugh at in that shot.

It's just a great week so far. Palace and Pompey both on the verge of financial implosion- they do say good things come in threes, so who else do you fancy for a tidy points deduction?

Incidentally, can anybody advise what sort of bill we'd be looking at there, to have your website taken down? Bozza?

It can't be that much, surely, which suggests they will have little chance of paying their wage bill on Friday (I'm sorry, I just have to say it again: John Utaka £80,000 per week :lolol::lolol::lolol:).

What will they fail to pay next, one wonders? Will half time teas in hospitality (if that hovel even has any hospitality facilities) be scrapped because they've skipped the milkman's bill? Will the Fratton Park cat be forced to forage along the railway line for rats because they can't afford the Whiskas? Bring it on :clap2:

As some of you may be aware, I know rather a lot about Portsmouth FC - not that I want to. And I can tell you it's even worse than you think, and has been for years. Did anyone but me notice that Milan Mandaric was handed an additional charge of money laundering the day after he, Redknapp and Storrie were arrested as part of the investigations into corruption in football? Think how much money has gone into and out of that club in recent years. And does Fratton Park look any different?

But of course, the fact is that the football authorities must have known for years (the press certainly have) and done nothing. They Premier League have "requested clarification" about the role of Daniel Azougy. I could tell them that he's an Israeli lawyer appointed by the owners to sort out the finances. And that he's negotiating the sale of Younes Kaboul to Spurs as I write this. But he's also been struck off by the Israeli bar Association for 14 years for fraud and obstruction of justice.

They know this. But they take no action.

And the fans (the real ones anyway, low-lifes though most of them are) suffer. Nothing changes ...

I've never regarded pompey as rivals particularly as their lot would wipe the floor with us without blinking an eye.

Hope they get out of their current situation.

Palace is another matter.

RIP
