Simple really, now that we know who we have round 3, does Gus stick to his word and play 'the reserves' against FCUM next Tuesday, or does he stick out the first team, because Pompey is attractive enough to warrant a potentially tired team.

need to field a strong team so we can compare how good we will be in the Championship when we play Portscum.

Reserves. Who cares if it's Pompey. Not a big club anymore, just a bunch of cheating cunts. League is wayyyy to important this year.

after reading the post about the magic going, full team. f*** the league for the moment, get on and have a crack at pompey, then on to the 4th round. if we duck the challenge here i dont think we'll do the league anyway.

Havn't I made it clear enough i'm talking about next Tuesday, I think it goes without saying the first team will play Pompey (if we get there)

Couldn't be any more perfect (other than drawing Palace) :clap2:

Forces GP into the position of having to take the competition seriously whether he likes it or not. Ha ha.

Exactly...he has to take both games seriously, a game against Pompey is more than that for us...if he doesn't, then he loses a fair amount of credibility!

Should play the first team even if the third round was against Middlesbrough away.

I'm still saying Reserves even though it would be good to play Pompey. Two reasons for this, 1, Huddersfield away a few days later is far more important and we dont want fatigue, injuries, suspensions from mid-week. 2, I think our reserves are good enough to win the replay anyway.

Should have played the first team v Woking, should have played the first team v FCUM, and should play the first team in the replay.

By playing a mix of first teamers and reserves we have lost momemtum. If we're not going to play the first team, then we should just send the reserves and not a hotch potch of the two.

If Gus doesn't play our strongest team then I will start up a booing section of the crowd & harrass him all game.
He'll have a massive hissy fit & I don't care (ps I haven't booed him yet but will if he continues to treat the cup with contempt)
To some on NSC he is god like!
Well sorry Gus you are not & whilst we have played attractive football in parts no honors have been achieved yet & quite frankly you have f***ed up big time in all our cup games.

Why cant he take the first team up to Manchester to play and win the game on Wednesday and stay up there for Saturdays game against Huddersfield as it is only 1 extra day as they will travel up on Friday normally. Must be somewhere up there to train and fatigue wouldnt be a problem as they could stay in Manchester Wednesday night or even go towards Huddersfield and stay for 2 nights.
