They are the lowest form of scum, they are not fit to be called a professional football club. And its beyond belief that they defend themselves over £39,000 a week wages when they can't pay their debts , anyone associated with them should be ashamed.

Rant over!!!!

You'll like it even more if you're one of the million or so people who get a demand from HMRC in the next week or so because you've (inadvertently) not paid enough taxes, while they happily write off the £37 million that Pompey quite deliberately defrauded the revenue (and thus you and I) of.

Hey Boy's,...dont get me wrong, do you think i like whats gone on??
Do you even think i like the idea of paying them both £20K a week? fuk me no! i dont!
Do you think i got off on the whole premiership thing, Redknap shaftin us, players ego's and the like! No!
Do i agree to not paying schools and the like (not sure where that came from) but in principle NO!
It's no good believing that the other 91 clubs in the football league do not exist otherwise you would have no fecker to play each week & banter between local rival clubs is what it's all about FFS surely?

Our passion for our club is no different to your own, or even the scum down the road from us, and at times "We have all been victims" to players greed, poor management and fat cat directors like Peter storie who bleed clubs and owners dry.
The real fans are the ones that feel the pain and the ones that pay the price.
Yea so they close PFC down, and perhaps someday. Liverpool or Man U (Yer right? like that's gonna happen)
But the reason why they did'nt close it down (sorry to dissapoint you all) is because the FL and their glorious procedures of due-dillagence is so poor, so bias, that they were responsible for half of the sorry mess they got into.
Remember, it's the fans that feel the pain and end up paying in the end!
The bigger picture lads, look at the bigger picture!
It's not cheating,......it's bending the rules and any accountant out there will tell you that when playing with the tax man, it's all about bending the rules!!

One last thing,...if they had of gone under.......did you really want 5,000 Pompey fans coming up the road and filling you new loverly ground???

I will admit, it does look sweet and you really dont want us in there do you!

Keep up the banter boys, no issues this end the best we can do for you is give Palarse a good kickin for you tomorrow night!....or are you all best of friends now??

Pompey Jon!

Quite apart from the wages, the Lawrence thing stinks to high heaven.

1. He was signed after the deadline had passed.
2. They've now got THREE players on loan from Stoke (Sonko, Kitson, Lawrence) when the rules stipulate you are allowed no more than TWO players from any one club. Oh, sorry, this is apparently an "emergency loan".

Some clubs really do have their own set of rules, and I cannot begin to fathom how or why the authorities let them get away with it.

Sounds like par for the course for pompey fans to me. A Knuckle dragging, thuggish response from one of the 'best set of fans in the league' (c) Sky Sports. The bloke can't even articulate a response and reminds me of why I hate Pompey after the 'best set of fans in the league' decided to try and kill everyone after we beat them 1-0 in the Cup in around 92 thanks to Matthew Edwards.

I hate everything about Pompey. Micky Quinn. 'Play up Pompey' The bell. that TWAT with the Tattoos. The Shit Pit of a town. If only they had gone bust.

This ......and being crushed at the ground while only opening one gate....."protected" ( if that means pushed, harassed, baton drawn police)and goaded from neandathal fans, trying to get at the Brighton fans to tear them apart. Cheating club buying the F.A cup and everyone in the media bleating on about their fantastic fans, i am almost in the want P*lace to win camp but cant quite say it. I hope its 0-0 and 6 sendins off and both clubs get fined £300 000 each for failing to control their players..........tossers the lot of 'em

Wish I could bend the rules when I have to fill out my self assessment at the end of each year. Ho hum.

And if you did go bust and as you say 5,000 fans will turn up at the Amex, you won't get in as anybody with more than 5 fingers and thumbs and arriving in a caravan will be turned away!!!!!

I bet the tax man is happy.

Having been squeezed to the point of suffocation by the taxman recently I am not happy.

I'm going to form a limited company, call it Bwian Football Club Ltd and the taxman can go f*** himself.

i lived in pompey for 15 years, i have no issue with them on the pitch,
i hope they beat the PROPER scum.

the fans will always suffer, even though they enjoyed the time in the prem and the cup win.
my 2 lads (and this is nothing to do with me) are both season ticket holders at pompey, my youngest said to me about 3 years ago...'how the f*** are we managing to buy the calibre of players we are on gates of 20k, the bubbles gunna burst soon, then the shit will fly'
those were his exact words

Your accounts.

And it's all about bending the rules with the taxman is it? I really, really hope you're one of the people who get a demand from HMRC in the next few weeks, and then we'll see how much you can bend the rules. Or do those little loopholes only apply to odious cheating football clubs.

You are not "victims" of players' greed: you agreed to pay those players therefore it's your responsibility to live up to those promises. Blackpool have a wage ceiling of £10k per week supposedly, it's called "living within your means". But of course PFC didn't want to do that, did they, they wanted to gamble, and it paid off. You don't HAVE to pay a fortune to players, but you CHOSE to.

Why have the Albion been playing at a crap level while you've been enjoying the Premier League? Because we spent only the little money we had. We could have invented imaginary funds like PFC did and signed better players than we could really afford, but we stuck to our level.

Both you and Cardiff (spending money on Bellamy when they can't pay their own debts) make me sick.

Is anybody really surprised though? They got away with it in the summer so why should they change now? It's funny that 'Warsash Blue' should pick on Simster as he was the one of the few people on here who had any sympathy whatsoever with the Portsmouth fans.

Just outrageous. I hope they go down almost as much as I hope Palace go down.

This will only put the club in a worse position for any new buyer. Surely they'll be tied in to pay these goons big wages making it a less attractive prospect.

Whats f***ing pissing me off is these pykies didnt get a 10 point deduction even though the 10 point deduction last season didnt make any difference to their plight.

I'm confident these filthy bastards will get further deductions and be hereby be relegated to Division 8 of the Western Cornish Sunday league.

There not happy about it though are they?

Precisly, HMRC are decidedly unhappy about events. If we want to blame anyone blame the Labour government who changed the Revenue from being a preferential creditor.

Am I being naive or isn't it the job of an administrator to secure the best deal they can for the creditors?
It strikes me that the first deal secured is their own work, at the highest possible rate for the longest possible time.
The players being paid in full when everyone else gets 20p in the pound is an abomination and should have been legally challenged.
We are so used to this industry being awash with money that £10k a week is now regarded as ' small beer '...but that equates to £500k a year and that is more than a lot of MD's earn.
AA has shown his true colours by agreeing to these wages and although nothing surprises us anymore in football, this is truly revolting.
I am currently involved in a business that has seen an individual secrete more than £350k from the company over the last 18 months. This business has been forced into administration and yet, in over 2 months, this individual has not been formally interviewed, chased or challenged.
My natural cynicism leads me to believe that the administrator will earn their big fat fee over 6 months (or more ) This individual will get away with it and the creditors ( some of whom have supplied for 15+ years ) will end up with sweet F.A.
Sound familiar?

Pompey Jon!

I think there's another ground a bit closer you could come to?? You would need to go through a cleansing process first though. Defleeing, de-licing etc.

Hang on, your not this Jon are you ??

They certainly continue to live beyond their means, in a quite outrageous way, but they're far from alone in that. The Premier league and Football League have both been far too lax for far too long as far as regulating club's finances are concerned. It has been a complete dereliction of duty on their part.
