Baby Eating in China

The Chinese have been eating each other for centuries and it was a largely accepted practice when famine took hold (as did regularly). Consequently cannibalism does not have the same stigma in China as it does for us in the delicate west.

When Mao launched the Great Leap Forward (oh the irony) some 40-60 million are estimated to have died from the resulting famine and other related affects. In inland rural provinces (where the effects of the famine were worse) villagers would swap kids with their neighbours so they didn't have to kill and then eat their own. Not many of the dead needed burying either..............if you know what I mean.

Arguably every human they eat means once less consumer, so maybe they have the solution to the world's environmental challenge.

It's pretty sad (and i personally find it quite surprising) how people are CONVINCED that such horror in the world has to be faked, as if it doesn't happen.

We are the rich 10%! The vast majority of the world lives in conditions like this and worse and it is our materialist / capitalist lifestyles that is almost entirely responsible.

The planets wellbeing is sacrificed and suffering of billions is caused because of the greed of the rich.
