Good point, which is what makes this recent news from Texas, a little bit scary. You could end up sending your kids to school and have them actually believing some of the most ridiculous bollocks ever.

That is very scary indeed, but there is no debate about the stupidity of the Americans, that is a given. It would be interesting to see a study based on "one's intelligence in relation to how 'american' one believes themselves to be".
