A lot of us in the centre of the North (n1d)noticed this today.... It was a little obvious as well when looking across that large sections were merely glancing over with disgruntled faces. One moment stood out - GOSBYTS being sung in the second half and not a word from the PBC. Suddenly they break out in to an encore of a Real Madrid style chant... It's a little bizarre. Where has this divide come from?! Surely were all there for the same reason? Aren't we...

I can honestly say it probably comes a bit from PBC not pausing long enough, not even a second, before giving another chant a go. They're pretty full on for 90mins. And don't hear other songs as a result in combination with the other factors such as acoustics. The songs in unison are probably the result of probability.

My god, you mean there's another sect now?! Or maybe, and this is just a hunch, there are fans acting independently and of their own free will to start a song? Perhaps the club needs to instal one of those deli counter ticket machines and you take one upon entering the stand. The scoreboards could then display when you can start your ditty? I think this could work. When's the next club meeting and are the Popular PBC, The Bollox crew Front and Popular front of the North all going to have representatives there?

I don't know where this hostility and desire to be patronising comes from; really I dont. Maybe we could have a beer at any away game, or meet up in Dick's some time. If I've done something to offend you then it was entirely inadvertent and I'm sorry it happened.
We're just trying to create a good time and enjoy the games.
If you have any better ideas, genuinely, let people know.
Until we get the chance to meet up and I can ask what it is we've done wrong then I'll remain confused by reactions such as yours.

can someone answer a genuine question
why did the police box people deliberately position themselves underneath the police box when it would be obvious to to anyone the acoustics afforded by the extra low roof would mean they would be only mostly heard amongst themselves.........it seems a little odd.

The rising hot air they generate keeps the police box up in its gravity defying position. If they paused for just a second it would come crashing down and crush them all, so you can kind of understand it from their point of view.
