For that not to be enough, effectively 3 teams below us would need to get 13 points from 9 games, Villa 15 pts from 10. Not going to happen.

Us getting 8 – 10 points would fulfill our 3 season average of 1ppg at this level. That would be enough in all honesty.

Don't think Villa will break 35 pts. 1 of Bournemouth, West Ham or Watford won't break 37.

It does feel like over 35 (or 35 with good GD) will be enough. Still a stretch to get there, but really encouraged by the performance yesterday. The determination all over the pitch was palpable.

I did the predictor and got to 41 points, with 34 for 18th, the second bit is probably realistic, I'd be bloody amazed if we get to 41.

don't worry, someone said 41 . I of course have never made any poor football predictions. I once had a bet on Barcelona not to win a trophy in a season. They won the treble.
