Leeds are dropping like a stone - they've been playing terribly all season (exception of last few games) - so why do you think they'll be challenging to go back up. They're not a big club anymore.

Partly due to the fact, we won't be paying anybody else off anymore. After this season, all money coming into Leeds will belong to Leeds.

I'm not being sarcastic (promise) but I still don't understand exactly how the £100m debts actually disappeared. Are the Leeds faithful any more clued up - or just happy they have (seemingly) gone?

Not necessarily - didn't work that way for QPR, Forest, Sheffield Wednesday etc.

A lot of the debt was written off, Krasner got a lot of it restructured, some took 17p in the pound that they were owed, we sold everything that moved and even stuff that didn't move.

The only 'debt' remaining as I type is to the tax man and to ex players/managers on their Ridsdale contracts. Both of those will be settled by the end of June.

Very impressive accounting - wish my accountant was as sharp as that!!! I wonder if other clubs will use the Leeds example as a blueprint for getting rid of big debts? Acknowledging what you say about selling off everything, you had some great years splashing all that money about - and at the end of it, you're still solvent, good fan base, no debts - many teams will be envious.

Also, some of the debt was attached to the PLC and when the football club was taken over the PLC was not sold with it. The PLC went into administration there and then and was dissolved last October.

I don't know much about these matters but would the conversation have been something like:

Leeds: "We'll offer you 17p in the pound."

Creditors: "No way, we want the full amount."

Leeds: "Well, we'll probably just go bust then, you've read the newspapers we're screwed, it's 17p or nothing."

Creditors (panicking): "Oh, ok well, it's better than nothing, I suppose."

I hope we buold a mega stadium with funding from a PLC attached to us then ditch the PLC and look forward to life without debt and an assault on the Championship and Premiership.

Another week, another referee apparently to blame for Leeds' defeat.

Will Dennis Wise EVER admit that his team were second best and deserved to lose?

I've a sad feeling that we're all going to be disappointed at the end of the season, as I just can't see Hull gaining the momentum to pick up the required points from the next games.

Leeds will be the club surrounded by all the hype and media attention, as it'd be far more of a story if they went down, and I just feel that their players will respond to the big match atmosphere that will inevitably generate. Hull, on the other hand, might have the good will of the rest of football, but I bet their players will be feeling second best as the media circus troops off to Elland Road for the final day.
