Please can we have a bit of common sense on here about Andy Horton?

By posting his phone number etc you are just inviting idiots to ring him up and abuse him.

Threatening him in public will not be exactly great either. Even if people just go over and have an argument with him, if this happends ten times it will be seen as threatening.

One man will not stop us getting Falmer (unless it is John Prescott) and as infuriating as it may be this bloke is allowed his own opinion, even if, heaven forbid, it is different to ours.

If this gets out of hand one phonecall to the argus and BANG 'Brighton fans threaten Falmer oponent'

You're asking for answers to several points here. I'll try.

1. "Falmer council would have chosen some other sites anyway".

Of course they would. What annoys me is that, thanks to perseus and his long-standing campaign for his fantasy development at "Pende", there are people on NSC and on the Argus forum as well, who have been deluded into believing that there might be a case to be made for the Shoreham Airport site.

Despite all his efforts to portray himself as some sort of planning "expert", Perseus really does not understand the planning process or the issues that affect decisions like this one. However, by constantly raising the issue, he has bigged-up his pet site to the point that Falmer Parish Council are now seriously putting it forward.

Falmer PC are NOT interested in whether the Albion get a site anywhere. They would be happy to see the Club die. If it was just a question of poring over a map of the area in search of an empty space, they would have done that at the first Public Inquiry. They didn't. They accepted then that the Airport site wasn't suitable. I believe that it is ONLY because of the campaign by perseus that they have now had second thoughts.

The only remotely puerile insult that I personally have posted was to quibble when Mr Popkins suggested that perseus might not be a wanker. I disagreed. Even you think he is "stupid".

He doesn't. The plea I've made earlier in this thread is a genuine one. Richie wants the board to be moderated effectively. I merely suggested that he could help - as could everyone - by joining in the discussions on existing threads, rather than start a new one.
