West Sussex gave us Lindfield! Best kept village in all sussex three years running- before we were forced to sit out for a few years to give other villages a chance!

Peacehaven's based on the American dream Mum(well the street layout is anyway!), you can't knock it. To be brutal if West Sussex was blown off the face of the map tomorrow you wouldn't find much mourning in the better half of Sussex. You may even find Albion attendances rocket as people again feel safe to attend matches.

Well I think we should ignore the East Sussex pikeys, as our county has more money put into it, has a historic cathedral city in Chichester, nice coastline. East Sussex has a bad smell, and gays and vegeterians. Our County has the best county council in the country. About from Brighton and Hove (which is not East Sussex anymore). East Sussex is a bit tedious in comparision to Wonderful West Sussex.

I was just joking Chappers, just some of the stereotypical views of a few idiots in the Western half of Sussex. I think Sussex overall (west and east) is beautiful and nothing wrong. I have nothing against gays, or vegeterians, just something mentioned by a Chichester county councilor who was a bit homophobic. Also I left out Brighton and Hove in the joke as its a unitary authority now so not part of either West or East. So I hope you were not offended there Chappers.

I agree Buzza it made me laugh. I was educated and raised in Burgess Hill. But there is a saying in the west of the county that Mid-Sussex is too close and smells badly of East Sussex.

Having risen this morning an taken a walk up the heaths of Burling Gap,I reflected on my rather intrusive manner of entering the biz site.There for as way of introduction I will elaborate a bit about myself so the masses can have a better gauge of were I'm coming from.
I was born in Brighton,1964,I was brought to Canada at the age of three,as my father was re-asssigned there,I returned every year thereafter untill last year when my granny finally bid adieu,i'm in a cottage house in Seaford.When I was eight my Uncle took me to my first stadium match.I don't recall the team played against but I remember being completly engulfed by the atmosphere and the crackle of the excitment generated by the fans.Well,I was hooked.I,ve followed the Seagulls for thirty odd years.I,ve been thuogh the ups and the downs but I'm proud to say not once did I ever disguise my loyalty.Even in a pub full of foreign supporters,I'm a Seagull first.
I was posting on the Rivals board and was detoured to this, and I'm impressed.Sometimes I take the mickey,it's all good crack really.Politically and socially we may be miles apart,however, one thing we "lot"" can all agree is love for Brighton Hove&Albion and East Sussex and England herself.
There you go and thank you for your attention,I feel humbled.
