Im not one for banning all kind of social life but when i saw the albion players in digital on a tue night a few weeks back, they werent just having a few bevvies, they were on the spirits, necking back the double vodkas and redbulls. Anyone whose tried to play football even a couple of days after binging knows how difficult this is.

The binge drinkning should not go on. One wonders why we are so awful, and it realy isnt on from so called professional athletes. Beers I can take but not endless rounds of vodka and mixers, when we have to pay big bucks to watch that shiteee on the pitch

Oh please.....!!!!

If the above was true, this would show a lack of respect for the Manager and his coaches,.........ill-discipline on the pitch......half-hearted performances........players being red-carded every other game.........and our team languishing in the relegation places in the league.

Please .....retract your post....!

If you were an Albion player at the moment then you would be out getting pissed after another dismal performance.

To be honest i normally laugh at these threads but after yesterday it really pisses me off that theyve been allowed to go out at all, they should've been in for training early this morning anyway after being embarrassed yesterday

If I saw them in town one night, It wouldn't even enter my head to approach. They are out of work hours and possibly relaxing.....I find its a good way to unwind after a bad day at the office....so what? ?

I guess its a fine line between having a social life and taking the piss.

You would think with the problems at the moment slade may of considered banning alcohol like Harry did at Spurs.

i really dont see why anyone thinks we fans have the right to ask players to not drink on a Saturday night. Friday/Tuesday before a game, yes, but after a game it raelly makes no odds. bear in mind, due to their atheltic job and metabolism, they can and will burn off that drink before the next training, and their hangovers aren't our problem.

I'd prefer it if they took mind bending drugs.

The following comments are made on the assumption that the OP's comments are true.

These are so called professionals who train, maybe, 2 or 3 hours per day. They get paid far more than the poor saps that contribute to their wages, even if they turn up for the real part of their job on Saturday and do nothing other than embarrass themselves and their supporters with their lack of performance and effort.

If they think that these 'efforts' that have seen us win 3 games since the beginning of August can justify their being out on the lash after yet another abject defeat then frankly they can f*** off. Yes, they are young men who would normally be out on the town every Friday and Saturday night-were it not for the fact that they earn their living by being fit, committed athletes. Lately they have not been living up to their job description of "Professional Footballer" and subsequently should be looking at ways of improving their performances rather than being out on the piss.

Coxy was 'out' with a "virus" a few weeks ago. Turns out a girl in a bar in Haywards Heath slammed a bar stool on his foot in full public view.

Still think it doesn't impact on the field?
