apart from letting Freedman turn i thought Butters was good today and it was a good finish.to give him 2 is a joke.
Didnt anyone else think Reid had a bloody nightmare.caught out of position, shit scared when anyone runs at him.He deserved the 2.

Reid didn't give the ball away as much today as he did against Wolves. Why not play Dodd there? Specialist full back with premiership experience. Its a no brainer surely???

Bizarre, that was. Can't quite see how Carole makes a better right back than Dodd ...

Blayney 5 - didn't do much wrong (other than handball) but i don't recall him making a good save..

Reid 5 - Our of position a low
Butters 6 - Great first half, but done for second goal
El-Abd 7 - much better than expected, although again positional play was weak
Hart 6 - good going forward, out of depth defensively

Carole 8 - ran the game for us, they were shit scared of him
Frutos 8 - lots of running, and sensible football
Oatway 6.5 - at times great, at times woeful
Hammond 6 - tried hard, but never really got anywhere

Knight 7 - can't argue with 2 goals
Robinson 6 - caused problems

CKR 5 - did nothing

I thoguht ElAbd played very well - seemed to get onto a lot, a lot of tackles, clearances.

That was a big plus today, along with Leon, Seb and Fruity's contributions. He has played himself back into the side and gives us another option at the back now. Want to see Dodd contribute now that OGH is suspended, and El Turi given a chance, so that he can be properly judged over a few games.

Taking off the rose tinted glasses I thought we were the better side in the first half but once Freedman scored to make it 2-2 there was going to be only one winner

Blayney 5 Looked ring rusty lucky a few times coming for crosses should of kepted out winner we miss henderson

Hart 6 a bit unlucky to be sent off steady game looked up for it should of been tighter for first goal

Reid 4 Very poor game Reid is a good player but not a left back very light weight and gave the ball away lots

Butters 4 A poor game for once looked very slow missed mcshane
and backed off for winning goal
el-abd 7 Good game really got stuck in looked good

Oatway 8 Had a really good game won lots of tackles passed the ball well

Hammond 5 where has the promise gone ?Gave the ball away poor first touch

Frutos 7 Great going forward good crossing great shot that hit bar but again to light weight tracking back

Carole 9 Star Man Great game brilliant crossing great on the ball this man is real class

Knight 7 scored a great goal and hit a poor penalty looked great with Jake but poor with CKR

Robinson 7 Why is the kid getting slated yes he missed a few good chances but his movement off the ball is first class caused problems the game was lost when he was subbed

Subs
CKR 3 Very poor game at 2-2 deep into injury time gave the ball away did not hold the ball up or work well with Leon

MM 5 He cost us a point to busy losing his rag at ref to bring on Dodd

Overall another hard luck story we really missed mcshane and butters had his worst game of the season hammond was awful as was both fullbacks.Thought Oatway was class.Dodd will be back for Cardiff and I would give Butters a rest as well time also to give the argie chance. But on a postive note still only 2 points away from safety

Blayney didn't have much chance with the two goals but is nowhere near as good as Henderson at organising and talking to the defence. 6 goals conceded in two matches - enough said.

Blayney - 6 Bizzarely had so little do to given how few chances Palace had!

Hart - 6 His deliberate handball was so costly and could see him lose his place in the team, a shame.
Butters - 7 Looked comfortable most of the time
El-Abd - 7 Some fine ball-winning, just needs more experience of the position to really kick on
Reid - 7 Composed and fluent

Carole - 8 Once again my man of the match, has amazing skill and pace for this level of football, our most important player alongside McShane and Chippy.
Hammond - 6.5 Just a few temperant issues, otherwise solid
Oatway - 7 Fine game from the skipper, Trigger once again proving he knows f*** all about football giving him a 5.
Frutos - 6 A defensive liability at times, outdoing his fine work going forward - McGhee's biggest problem now in terms of figuring out the shape of the team.

Knight - 8 Of course he was excellent today on his comeback. Please keep this drive and effort up Leon, starting at Ninian on wet Tuesday night!
Robinson - 6 Covered every blade of grass superbly, but bizarrely hesitant in front of goal.

CKR - 6 Rawness and temperament issues just stopping his breakthrough at the moment, but it will come.

Blayney 6 - Okay, nothing more.

Reid 7 - Solid enough, decent going forward.
Butters 6 - Generally good, but played his part in a shocking second goal.
El Abd 7 - Good defensively, but his distribution may prevent him making it at this level.
Hart 7 - Decent, perhaps a little naive to get sent off, even if it was unjust.

Frutos 8 - Excellent on the ball, great assist, hit the bar with a good volley.
Oatway 7 - Did a good job, if not as influential as at Selhurst.
Hammond 7 - Similar to Oatway.
Carole 7.5 - Some very nice touches, threatened consistently in the first half.

Knight 8 - Didn't see that much of the ball, but had that touch of class. One neat finish, and put enough power on the penalty.
Robinson 5 - Poor. Positioning dubious, bottled the one-on-one with Kiraly when he had to put his head in, and missed another sitter.

Kazim-Richards 6 - Not too great.

McGhee 7 - Should have brought Dodd on for Carole at the death, otherwise sound.

Referee 0 - Overweight, incompetent, cowardly.

Completely agree. Spot on

Can't be arsed with all the scores, apart from to say Frutos was our MoM first-half, and Carole MoM second-half, and Leon performed in a manner that is expected of him - just hope he can be arsed to keep it up. Also a big shout for El-Abd for a better than expected performance, and a totally undeserved yellow card.
