Blayney - 5 - Not impressed at all by this dodgy performance

Hart - 6 - Didn't notice him much until the second half, get well soon
Butters - 5 - Not his best game, the second equaliser was all to easy
El-Abd - 6 - Tried hard but a little rusty
Reid - 6 - Caught out a couple of times but not a bad game

Carole - 7 - Some nice touches and balls, good game
Oatway - 5 - Consistent, consistently giving the f***ing ball away
Hammond - 5 - Rarely knew he was on the pitch
Frutos - 8 - Excellent first half but gradually faded out of the game

Robinson - 6 - Not bad but lacks confidence and a goalscoring touch
Knight - 9 - Outstanding, the Stoke result could have been so much different if Magoo wasn't so selfish

Kazim Richards - 6 - Not a lot to do but added something different to Robinson

Blayney - 6 - Couldn't have done much about the goals but doesn't command as well as Kuipers and Hendo.

Hart - 6 - Tried hard and very unlucky to be sent off. He did handball but it was accidental.
Butters - 5 - His heading was not great too many looped in the air. Distribution was better, but looks too slow now.
El-Abd - 6 - Pleased with him today he was solid
Reid - 6 - Still should not be played at left back but tried hard.

Carole - 7 - Bit quiet today but did well when he had the ball
Oatway - 5 - Worked hard as you would expect, but doesn't have the quality at this level
Hammond - 4.5 - Very disappointing. Beginning to wonder if he can play at this level. He needs to control midfield, but we always get overun.
Frutos - 8 - Flair, industry and commitment. Our best player after Mcshane in the squad now.

Robinson - 6 - At times should have done more to close down the opposition. Not threatening enough in front of goal, no finishing ability shown so far.
Knight - 7 - Good response, but does he have to be so in and out?
Has to play well for a dozen games not just 1 or 2.

Kazim Richards - 3 - Can't hold the ball up and seems to give it away in the worst positions. Not a centre forward at the moment that can play at this level. Mcphee is better, at least he has movement off the ball.

Mcghee - 4 - Mad a big mistake taking off Robinson. Should have brought on Dodd once Hart was sent off, and that was a crucial mistake which cost us a point today.

Overall we were not good enough. The ref was bad, but that masks the deficiencies in our play today. We theatened on the flanks but were clueless in the middle of the park, and that is where games are won and lost.
The substitutions from Mcghee were wrong today, and we paid for it.

Blayney 6 - Okay, nothing more.

Reid 7 - Solid enough, decent going forward.
Butters 6 - Generally good, but played his part in a shocking second goal.
El Abd 7 - Good defensively, but his distribution may prevent him making it at this level.
Hart 7 - Decent, perhaps a little naive to get sent off, even if it was unjust.

Frutos 8 - Excellent on the ball, great assist, hit the bar with a good volley.
Oatway 7 - Did a good job, if not as influential as at Selhurst.
Hammond 7 - Similar to Oatway.
Carole 7.5 - Some very nice touches, threatened consistently in the first half.

Knight 8 - Didn't see that much of the ball, but had that touch of class. One neat finish, and put enough power on the penalty.
Robinson 5 - Poor. Positioning dubious, bottled the one-on-one with Kiraly when he had to put his head in, and missed another sitter.


Kazim-Richards 6 - Not too great.

McGhee 7 - Should have brought Dodd on for Carole at the death, otherwise sound.

Referee 0 - Overweight, incompetent, cowardly.

Blayney - 5 - Third could have been kept out with a stronger hand, prefer Henderson.

Hart - 6- Did well, was unlucky be sent off but it was irrelevant due to injury anyway. We do look good attacking down the right with him and Carole
Butters - 2 - Sorry Guy, you've served the club well, but you are not sharp enough anymore. There 2nd and 3rd goals could have been prevented.
El-Abd - 6 - Played well I thought.
Reid - 6 - Don't remember him doing much wrong and put one superb ball through to Knight

Carole - 8 - He is quality.
Oatway - 7 - Hassled the Palace midfield very effectively.
Hammond - 7 - Similar to Oatway.
Frutos - 8 - Very impressive.

Robinson - 4 - Not good enough.
Knight - 7 - Better, fortunate with both goals maybe but played well generally.

Although CKR was pretty poor, that seems a bit generous. I thought Robinson was well below-par today, was poor technically and bottled too many vital challenges.

Got to agree that Blaney does not look in goal. Henderson seemed to control and organise his defense much better. We miss Hendersons quick and accurate throws to the wingers as well.

Odd, really, considering Blayney looked so good last year. Not bad today, but hardly convinces like Hendo ... maybe he'll come good with games.
