I think NSC has the ratings just about right although I would have rated the substitutes a little higher particularly Calderon as they tried to make things happen and got involved in the play a lot despite both coming on relatively late.

Seems about right to me. Where they on instructions from Gus to take it easy and use it as a pre-season game or are we just carrying on from where we left off last season? One thing for sure is that its going to get a lot more physical and much quicker come Saturday when all will be revealed. The one thing that worries me is that we haven't included our physicality and we know what that means in this league (think West Ham last season and, I suspect, Bolton and Blackburn this season)

I'd say (with a bit of self reflection too) that this is about spot on. I'm assuming Saturday will see none of the bottom three performers in the starting line up which will no doubt disappoint those that seem to want to give Harley a perpetual chance to prove himself

I think when you average out everyone's ratings you do get something more reflective, with the overly pessimistic being balanced by the overly generous. I suspect that some of the lower marks are still unfairly low, though.

Whilst it has been difficult to predict Gus's team selections I expect the top 9 to start with Crofts and CMS replacing Harley and Noone. That would leave us without a winger but may well be how Gus wishes to start what I hope is a tight game. The alternative will be for Noone to start at the expense of Dicker, which is what I would prefer. Given it is an away game I see KLL starting on the bench.

Think I'd prefer to see Dicker, Harley and Noone out with Crofts, CMS and KLL in.
