Formation 4-6-0

Kuszczak 5 - Not much to do apart from pick the ball out of the onion bag.

Bruno 7 - Best player on the park by a country mile.
Greer 5 - Shaky, the booing got to him, unprofessional.
Dunk 4 - Far from his best game, didn't look focused to me.
Bridge 6 - Good solid performance until he got tired, which was inevitable.

Bridcutt 6 - Standard Bridcutt performance, good tackling, little wrong.
Dicker 4 - Has had a whole summer but still looks unfit and dreadfully slow.
Harley 5 - One or two nice passes but still seems not to want to get stuck in.
Vicente 6 - Far from his best game but still a threat with some lovely touches.
Noone 3 - Dreadful, lost the ball time after time, still can't cross, worst player on the park.
Barnes 4 - Far from his best game, looked to be back to his old ways, needless pathetic booking.

All subs 5.
Hard to argue with any of that. Maybe give the keeper a 6. Not much he could do. Love to know what he said to Oatway as he come of at the end. By the look of those around, didn't look very happy!!!

Kuscsack - 5- didnt command his area at set pieces
Bruno -6 decent performance but looks like he could lose his temper easily
Dunk -4 poor looked slow turning
Greer 4 not at the races
Bridge -5- at least got 90 mins under his belt
Bridcutt -6 tried to get moves going
Dicker -2 SLOW
Harley -1 not good enough
Vicente -6 drifted in and out of the game
Noone -2 Crossing practice needed
Barnes -4 I'm usually a big fan but first touch was poor

Calderon -5 looked like he was trying to get the game going
Toby -6 should have come on earlier. Natural striker

1. Kusczcak - 5 - a pretty ordinary debut didn't look convincing but I'm sure he will come good.
2. Bruno - 7 - very impressed will be a great signing.
3. Bridge - 6 - encouraging debut and will only get better with more games.
4. Greer - 5 - under par performance.
5. Dunk - 5 - might make way for El-Abd at hull.
6. Bridcutt - 7 - best player in the first half but less influential in the second half.
7. Dicker - 5 - great league 1 player but lacks the mobility and strength to make an impact in the championship (I know it was league 1 tonight).
8. Harley - 5 - a great opportunity to get a run in the side didn't take his opportunity.
9. Barnes - 5 hit and miss some nice touches but struggled.
10. Vicente - 6 sublime at times but I always feel his more dangerous playing a slightly deeper role where we can get him on the ball more.
11. Noone - 5 - final ball was nearly always a shocker and this will need to improve massively.

Subs
12. Calderon - 7 showed some passion, commitment and desire which was severely lacking from harley and dicker.
13. Adgestein - 6 lively when he came on in hindsight should of started so Vicente could play in midfield.

Very poor performance but credit to Swindon who looked a good side. No need to panic yet as four of our best attacking players were missing and that showed tonight.

Unfortunately it's NSC at its worst tonight with people posting reactionary bull shit on the back of one result.

On Tele only
and the positives/neutrals are pretty generous

Bruno, Bridge, Vicente, Barnes, Bridcutt score positive
Greer, Dunk, Kooshak score neutral
Noone, Dicker, Harley score shocking and need to be made to walk home

Nothing much going on up front but when you don't even hear the names of our 2 key midfielders mentioned therein lies the problem imo

For God's sake, get off Harley's back. If anyone was to blame tonight it was Noone. Or Poyet, for getting rid of Navs after such a storming end to last season.
Harley is a good player. He will come good. But not if everyone slags him off whenever we loose.
Get over it. Swindon are a good side that will do well this season. With Buckley, CMS and the new CF, we will do well.

Watch Harley play. He hides in my opinion and has done ever since he's joined us.
His stats for distance run, tackles made and passes made is so low in comparison to the opposition is embarrassing. He looks like he's picking up a ridiculous wage and trying to do the bare minimum.

Totally agree ... why get off his back when his total contribution is a free kick, a tap in and 5 minutes against Burnley? I went for trials and got 2 hours, didn't perform and didn't ever get another chance

Harley IS shit. And rarely do I get on a players back. How many breaks does he need?? He has scored one goal of note and done nothing since. That is a fact. He can f*** off as far as I am concerned.

He adds nothing and does nothing. His stats are dreadful and so is his attitude.

I would rather we got rid and kept JFC for the bench

About right that.... No pace, no imagination, no passion, no idea tonight. It will all be forgotten by sat I'm sure. A new striker will help though!

Why the f**k every other club seems to be able to sign a striker and we don't is beyond me.

John solako got it right on sky sports " Brighton need a plan B"
problem is gus doesn't have one!

He very much has a plan B, C and D. Like most managers at this level it's relatively easy to get players to play in one way. The difficult bit is getting them to play in more than one way or knowing when to switch.

The problem is only being exposed because he's moved away from the normal way most lower league teams play. If we took the lump it over the top when in doubt approach I can 100% assure you the words "plan b" would even pass your lips.

How you saw anything positive from Barnes is beyond me.

It was relative statement. Header against post, disallowed goal :lolol:, and I thought the left foot from the whipped Vicente stab was pretty good, even though Dennis Wise didn't. That's 3 more things than some others.

Clutching at straws I agree
