Good to see the youngsters given a run-out. Some impressive talent there. But we really should have beaten a Conference team. And all that cross field tippy-tappy at the end when we should have been pushing forward for a winner really pissed me off.

Brezovan 8. A couple of good saves; confident on crosses; good distribution. Maybe we don't need another goalie after all!

Calderon 4. Poor game. Can't believe he was bamboozled so often by Conference opposition. Compare his display today with Cook's on Monday against the Championship leaders. I know who I'd rather have at RB.

Vincelot 7. Would have been an 8 except for a couple of near suicidal moments late in the second half. Apart from that looked very good and great to see him venturing upfield on a couple of occasions.

Hall 8. Very assured performance. going to be a star.

Sampayo 6. Looked a bit nervous to start and played a couple of poor balls, but improved as the game moved on.

Buckley 7. Some very good runs, but final ball not always the best.

Sparrow 7. Solid game. Getting back to his best.

Navarro 7. Thought he played the Bridcutt role quite well.

JFC 8. A couple of great shots; well taken goal; great midfield play; but responsible for their goal when he lost his man. This kid will be amazing.

KLL 7. Was playing well with one or two excellent crosses including the one for the goal.

Barnes 5. Very disappointing. A chance for him back in his favoured striker role, but he didn't shine.

Subs:
Agdestein 7. Impressed. Good shot on him. Speedy and strong. Could he be the partner for CMS? But not sure how good he is in the air.
Kasim 6. Looked pretty good.
Rodgers 6. Ditto.

Peter Brezovan 6 - Fielded a couple of crosses quite well and did ok with his kicking.
Inigo Calderon 6 - Their chap up against him found it far too easy to waltz past time and time again.
Grant Hall 8 - Probably our best player on the day, he's the reason we sold Steve Cook. We didn't need both.
Romain Vincelot 6- Did what he had to do. I think he's wasted at centre back, can't get involved enough.
Ben Sampayo 6- Also thought he looked nervous to start with and in general, but encouraging display.
Alan Navarro 5- Poor first half, non-runner in the second.
Matthew Sparrow 7- Industry and determination, a few good runs and a few good passes. Overall a good display.
Jake Forster-Caskey 7- Deserves to keep his place in the team for a while now.
Kazenga LuaLua 7- Was starting to cause their right back some real problems and had flashes of brilliance first half.
Will Buckley 6- Never got out of first gear, disappointed to see him replaced at 1-1.
Ashley Barnes 4- Completely anonymous, lacked work rate, skill and desire. Extremely disappointed.

Subs
Torbjorn Adgestein 6- One good shot and one decent bit of skill but offered little.
Yaser Kasim 6- Just a poor mans Bridcutt. Would rather have him in the side than Navarro on today's showing though.
Anton Rodgers 6- Didn't impose himself on the game and not sure where he'd fit in. Doubt he'll make the breakthrough.

As for Wrexham, their goalkeeper was very lucky. His fumbles were incredible, if CMS had been playing he'd have tucked one of them away, there was no chance he would hold anything.

Buckley was poor, wasn't taking on their left back at all, despite the torture he handed out on Monday. Not sure why.

Well done to those who were honest and gave Calderon low marks. A non-league winger (as well as countless Champ' wingers this season), had great joy against him.

Shame, but not up the class required.

Jara showed us the class that's around for right-backs.
mmmmm......had a knee operation three weeks ago, previously been playing with a knee injury. I think you might be being a little unfair on Calderon with these comments. Better to judge him when he's recovered imo.

Calderon got turned inside out by non-league opposition last season as well. A shocking performance.

Brez - 8 - Great performance, the only way he was going to get beaten was by a deflection.
Calderon - 6 - Very rusty.
Sampayo - 6 - Am not sure. Of course he is young, but perhaps understandably looked shaky and defended poorly for the second goal.
Hall - 8 - MoM for me, looked very cultured going forward and covered Vincelot throughout.
Vincelot - 5 - Poor performance, some shocking decision making.
Navarro - 6 - Ok, but unspectacular
Sparrow - 6 - Disappointing after his excellent performance Monday.
Forster-Caskey - 8 - Busy throughout, rarely surrendered possession.
Lua-Lua - 7 - Shame about the injury.
Buckley - 6 - Needs a trick, bit over reliant on pace alone.
Barnes - 5 - Can't remember a worse performance from him.

Kazim - 6 - Always available, well balanced.
Rodgers - 5.5 - Good initially but then tried the 'difficult' ball too much.
Toby - 7 - Great start

Not a great performance and would have liked to have seen us take the game a bit more seriously. There were enough experienced players in there today that you thought might shine against a conference team but thought nearly all of them were poor today.
Brez ok 6
Calderon poor 5
Hall promising , did nothing wrong 7
Vincelot 4 poor, can do much better
Sampayo 6 looked tidy on the ball, needs to work on defending.
Navarro 4 slow, telegraphed and obvious passing.
Sparrow 6 Average
Buckley 5 Flashes of what he can do but not enough today
Forster Caskey 7 Good first touch and attack minded.Live prospect
Lua Lua 6 Good at times, needs right service from full back and midfield
Barnes 4 Apart from one long range try did nt look like scoring-very disappointing
Adgestein 6 looked dangerous, would have liked to see him have a go at Wrexham central defenders.played too deep
Subs- Wasim 6 tidy and robust
Rodgers 6 tidy, cultured and looked to find killer pass at times

Can't believe you're dishing out the sevens and eights after a home draw against a conference team. Jesus, what would you be awarding if we'd played a good team? 30 out of 10? 40?

Brezovan - 6
Calderon - 4
Vincelot - 4
Hall - 5

What could Hall have done better to get a higher mark? 5 out of 10 just because we didn't win seems ridiculous to me.

they said on the radio, hall was easily man of the match

Thats because he was! IMO

JFC would have run him close had it not been for his lack of tackling in our defensive third. He let his guy get passed him easily twice and the second time it cost us a goal.

Brezovan - 6

Calderon - 4 Possibly unfit, looked very sloowwww.
Sampayo - 5 Got better as the game wore on, probably nervous as hell.
Vincelot - 5 Was ok but nearly gifted them a freebie on goal late on.
Hall - 9 MoM for me, never put a foot wrong.

LuaLua - 5 produces some clown moments then amazes me. Too Fragile and injured too often.
JFC - 7 good performance but let his man go twice easily passed him.
Buckley - 5 didnt seem to bothered today.
Navarro - 4 five yard passes in plenty of space. looks slow and never threatens at all. booked
Sparrow - 5 plenty of running as usual, but nothing happened for him today.

Barnes - 3 Worst performance ive seen from him. Hasnt got what it takes IMO.

Agdestin - 6 did ok when he came on. seemed frightend to shoot when well placed.
Kasim - 5 looks ok on the ball
Rodgers - 5 did ok.
