Game of opinons - he would be one of my bottom 3.
I think Stephens has been better most of the season and really don't get some people's negativity toward him (missed Cardiff game so cannot comment on that match).
Yesterday I think Stephens played really well but still some people are giving him really low marks - just don't get why.
I also thought he looked more comfortable playing with Kayal - I don't think Propper gives him enough support in the middle.

Yes absolutely, though Bong got caught ball watching twice in the first half as well.

In those situations you need good communication between Ryan, Bong and Izquierdo.

Jose worked hard when not looking match fit - in fact I would say he worked harder than every single player against Bournemouth

Disagree he was lethargic going into an number of challenges he may be worried of another sending off for a mistimed tackle and thats how it seemed to me. Wolves crossed and shot at the first opportunity. Stephens doesnt EVER and yet again this game. Propper is better without him and I worry at how bad his injury is.

Our best outfield player today was Stephens according to who scored stats. Its weird how even when he plays well he still wont get praise. Is it a NSC thing where you cant praise someone would you have ripped to bits before?

But stats are bullshit. Kayal played better than Stephens beyond doubt. He allowed Stephens to play more like we know. He has been hampered by having a complete non-entity alongside him recently.

His pass completion rate was 68% which is pretty poor for a CM but liked the way he buzzed around and what a strike which just went over. Its just funny how running around a bit like Andone can make you a fans favourite.

Stats are bullshit? ok mate great argument mate. Im not saying Kayal was awful, he played well but gave the ball away cheaply so many times, stats prove this. Maybe he was rusty after not playing as much.

Mine too. At the moment he looks like a guy that's got no one to play off of, no one making runs in front of him, who spends most of each game having to play out of tiny spaces under pressure and who never gets to cross the half way line because of our ridiculously rigid tactics. What is clear to anyone with a football brain is that he's one of the few players in our squad that could step up to a much better side with relative ease, which many of our players couldn't do.

Yes I agree, like I said Kayal played well but people need to look at the bigger pitcher at times. Kayal could press players as Stepehns sat in, at times when we were defending set pieces Dale was acting as another CB. DS made 4 more tackles, was dispossessed less, much better passing, made more passes etc etc just about time he got some praise.

I'd argue that's probably the very reason he doesn't start a ton of games for us at this level (plus his poorer use of the ball). He doesn't have the defensive discipline to keep the shape - he's so desperate to impress all of the time that he goes charging after the man with the ball and often leaves us exposed. In a side that presses higher up, he'd be great, but his lack of discipline is always likely to hold him back in a CH team at this level.

Difference in standard of the two leagues? Whilst he might not be up to the standard of a lower Prem team he will most likely slot into and impress a high ranking Dutch team.
