its all opinions I know but I thought that was one of our best performances this year
that's not saying much and we cannot score which is the point
but we did match the top team in the league
happy to concede a second going all out for an equalizer

Stockdale - 7 made a few decent saves, couldn't do anything about the goals
Greer -2 at fault for first goal, awful defending
Halford - 6 played well, should have swapped with Greer so he got the ball in the forward positions
Dunk - 6 one of his better recent games
Bruno -5 was our player furthesr forward at times
Bennett - 5 got the ball in good positions but no final ball
Kayal -8- MOTM streets above everyone else , never seems to shoot though
Stephens -4 doesn't add anh quality to the team
JFC -6- played some nice touches but faded
Caroyal -6 quick player on the counter
O'grady - 7 strong at holding up ball

CMS - 6 quickned our attack , good to see him run at defenders
KLL -4- didn't see the ball much
Calde -5 did very little

I fail to see what Stephens brings to the side, he is the weak link in midfield IMO, not worth keeping any longer, he's tried, bit he's failed.

Halford, should try changing windscreen wipers, indicator bulbs and maybe stay in the tattoo parlour.

Greer, be gracious, retire, or ask for a transfer.

Bennet, how about you try playing football?

Boro is a foregone conclusion, but I won't let those overpaid knobs ruin my weekend away in North Yorkshire. Roll on next season, here's hoping for a clear out, clever recruitment, and a manager who can learn about setting up and attacking side.

I don't agree, one of only a handful of players we should keep.

He may well come good when surrounded by quality.
But he certainly hasn't imposed his quality onto our team let alone the opposition, a la Kayal.

To me he's fast becoming 'just a footballer'.
Nothing more nothing less.
He's not likely to feature in many MotM conversations but he's not (certainly by this seasons standards) going to crop up in worst performances either.

He's just a 5.

I'll only comment on a few.

Greer, far too pedestrian, past his sell by date.
Bruno; again far too slow at getting the ball forward. Too many flicks didn't come off today and was quite pleased when Calde replaced him.
Stephens; I like him, think he is going to be key to us next year as long as he remains injury free.
Kayal: best on the pitch for us.
Carayol: waste of space. Can't control the ball (makes CMS look like Messi) and not sure he is in full control of his legs.
O'Grady; Shame he didn't have the confidence to the shot first time in the opening minutes. Great shot later on well saved. Holds the ball up better than anyone.
Best; Had by far and away his most effective game for us!

Bruno 5. He was poor. Looked way out of his comfort zone.
Bennett 6. Did okay, should've finished his chance in the 90th minute.
Dunk 5. Dived in way too early for their 1st goal.
Halford 5. Wasn't great.
Greer 4. Needs replacing, he is way past it.
Kayal 8.5. What a player, he was literally everywhere today.
Stephens 7.5. Thought he had a good game, should've have done better with his chance. Him and Kayal show we don't have centre midfield problems.
JFC 4. Didn't even realise he was on the pitch.
Carayol 6.5. He battled well I thought.
Ogrady 8. He had a great game. If we can get a poacher to play with him, he'll become a key player.
CMS 6. Gave a lot, ran at players. Can't fault him for effort.
Lua Lua 5.5. He was ineffectual.
Calderon. 7. I'm surprised he's getting such low ratings, I thought he changed our right side, couple of great crosses and certainly was better than Bruno.

stephen.race.whatever couldn't see that either. Bruno was rubbish, as usual Calderon, though past it, still managed more in a few minutes than Mr Liability did all game.

Lets hope Bruno's injury isn't too bad. A few years out should see him back to his best, playing beach footie.

Stockdale 6 Did everything required, one annoying punch when he could have caught the thing.
Bruno 6 Average and ordinary performance.
Greer 5 A few misplaced passes, out of position once or twice and at fault for the first goal/assist for the first goal.
Halford 6 Solid and consistent, changed my opinion completely, sign him up.
Dunk 6 Sheer class, will be first choice centre back next season.
Bennett 6 Happy to sign him, he'd link really well with a proper left winger.
Stephens 7 Busy, mobile and sharp. Quality player and his partnership with Kayal is class.
Kayal 7 Such a quality player, needs better around him to fully utilise his class.
Forster-Caskey 5 His role wasn't really defined in the team and he didn't get into the game.
Carayol 4 Poor performance and didn't really seem too bothered.
O'Grady 4 Rubbish player, he is League 1 standard at best and needs to be flogged.
