Despite being four up in 38 minutes, didn't think we were that good today. Still, didn't need to be, and had a nice rest in the second half.

Stockdale 6 -- not much to do, some good distribution
Bruno 7 -- class
Goldson 8 -- classier
Dunk 7 -- GG's got longer to wait
Rosenoir 7 -- clever for penalty
Knockaert 6.5 -- never got out of second gear
Kayal 8 -- uses his body so well to shield a moving ball
Stephens 7.5 -- his best game for a while
Murphy 6 -- had a nice rest in the second half
Baldock 6 -- probably deserves more for his effort
Hemed 8.5 MotM -- his goals come in clusters, let's hope he keeps going for the next 12 games, so we don't need to both with the 15th.

Subs:
Skalak 5.5 -- cracking movement, but fluffed his lines
Sidwell 6 -- enjoyed seeing him ending up in the net
Wilson 5 -- anonymous

If that was Knockaert in second gear, just how fast CAN he run?

Stockdale 7 Assured in everything he did.
Bruno 7 At the races today as he has been most season
Goldson 7.5 Good positioning for most of the game; growing presence in the team. Future captain?
Dunk 7.5 Nearly gave a pen away early doors but warmed up and well taken header.
Rosenoir 8 So good to have him back, brings balance, solidity and adventure. What more do you need in a full back?!
Knockaert 7 Tricky but by his high standards low key.
Kayal 8 MOTMBattled all night long and kept a high tempo throughout.
Stephens 7.5 Like a siamese cat he purrs around the pitch and makes it look effortless.
Murphy 7 Constant running but lacked service second half.
Baldock 7 Ran his socks off harrying and made smart runs on the angles. Made them make mistakes.
Hemed 7.5 Stuck himself about and was quick in thought, see goal.

Rosenior 7.5

Knockaert 7
Stephens 7.5
Kayal 8
Murphy 7

Hemed 8
Baldock 7.5

Kayal just about shades it as MoM for me. Celtic were nuts to let him go. Class act.

As I said in the match thread, I loved that Baldock, Stephens and Knockaert stuck up for themselves and their team mates after a couple of terrible challenges & petty kickouts from them. Yes we did pick up a booking because of it (see Baldock) but it just emphasises the togetherness and ruthlessness of the team at the moment. We're not taking shit from anyone and no mistake is being left unpunished.

I love the way this team has come together, seems we have a great bunch of like-minded, talented players that are all as ambitious and set on their goals as each other.

Have to agree with this. Watching the highlights Liam did amazing for the penalty. Not bad for amake shift left back.

I thought we were a bit average if I'm honest!

Th result was right, but the second half was lazy, when we should have been pressing high up.

View from central WSU....Thought this was Stephens best game as he did a lot more tidying up than he has done in recent games plus a bit of creativity. I would have had him as MOM but very close between him, Kayal & Hemed.... See some of the anti- Wilson comments slipping in and that Skalak was dire (another thread). We have just won 4-0 FFS leave it out it is NOT constructive.

From the TV we were just better right across the pitch. Probably the biggest gulf between the two sides was their respective centreback pairing. Goldson and Dunk were fluster-proof, tidy, organised, even elegant. Leeds CBs were a shambles and just couldn't deal with the movement of the Albion attacks.

Marks from TV

7s
8s for Goldson, Dunk, Kayal, Stephens and Hemed.

Spot on for me. Looking at those ratings you would never think we won 4 - 0!
