PIG - 6 - Rarely troubled apart from the two scorchers which hit the bar.

Calde - 7 - Got forward well and defending was sold.
Greer - 7 - Dominant in the air, captains performance.
Upson - 7 - Same as Greer
Ward - 7 - New to the club but played really well, looks useful.

Andrews - 7 - Not as cool as Bridcutt on the ball, but decent game.
Crofts - 7 - Well taken goal but had a bit of a disappointing 2nd half before that.
Agustein - 6 - Looked a bit off the pace at times, was exhausted when he came off.
Dave - 6 - Not convinced playing him attacking right, doesn't have the pace. Rightly subbed.
Buckley - 5 - Poor game IMO, went missing for a lot of it.

Ulloa - 8 MOM - Brilliant target man, unlucky with a header in first half and his ability to hold up the ball is too class.

Would agree with the majority but would give Agustien 8 and Ulloa 7. Agustein looks a beast and will boss the midfield

Agree Buckley was poor, but seemed to be playing as a second striker - hardly had a run out wide.

Upson -7- unlucky not to score
Ward -8- Looks like a great addition to the squad. Left back solved
Andrews-7- Steady performance does his job with minimal fuss
Crofts -9- Was everywhere today. Got stuck in and took his goal well.
Kemy -6- Nice ball through for the goal but other than that was quiet.
Buckley -5- rarely threatened and offside on numerous occasions
Dave -7- Was end to end performance but set pieces were poor.
Ulloa -8- Strong performance against their tall CB. Worked hard.

Crofts 9? Are you kidding? Goal excepted (God be praised) he was really poor. Every fluid looking movement broke down when it got to him. Buckley worse. Kem too tire to turn up for second half. Spanish out of sorts. Everyone else pretty decent.

Interesting comments about Crofts. I thought he was poor until he scored. After the goal, he was brilliant.

Greer MOM for me. Fantastic performance.

Ward gave the ball away a couple of times, but looked good. Especially considering he has only trained with us once, and last played competetive football at the back end of last season. He'll do well for us.

I agree Buckley was poor, looked short on confidence.

I'm going to do a review based ENTIRELY on how the Brum commentators came across:

Kuszczak - 6. Not troubled.

Ward - 7. Not mentioned often, but when he was, it was in a good way.
Greer - 8.5. Called Will, Matt and Gordon, but even defended like 3 men today. Seemed to win every header.
Upson - 8.5. Solid, calm and experienced in defence.
Calderon - 6. Got forward a bit, but lost the ball a few times?

Crofts - 8. Not sure he was mentioned at all before his goal, but an "excellent finish" according to the Brum commentators.
Agustien - 8. Superb first half, sounded like he was in line for MOTM, but then had a less than inspiring second half.
Andrews - 8.5. Ran the show, apparently.

Lopez - 7. Didn't do an awful lot, but nothing negative.
Ulloa - 8.5. Very strong and skilful.
Buckley - 6. Mentioned as strong and fast, but no significant contribution.

Ulloa was easily our best player today, held the ball up, chased and was always an outlet. Buckley clearly wasnt comfortable with the role he played, wasn't great however he was involved with our best moments in the first half, just a shame that's all he did.
