Andrews Motm, really was first class today. Some of the tackles he made were exceptional. Crofts a nine is a joke, goal aside he was incredibly poor. Everyone else has been covered.

PIG - 7 He dealt with crosses well and kept a clean sheet but not troubled much.
Calderon - 7 stayed slightly further back then he did against Derby. He put in a good shift.
Greer - 8 A performence to be proud of.
Upson - 8 Same as Greer and he nearly scored.
Ward 7 - The solution to our LB problems. Played well.
Andrews - 8 He's brilliant. His passing is good and he is cool on the ball. He plays Bridcutts tole very well.
Crofts - 7 Lovely finish.
Kemy - 6 looked good at times but he was sometimes not in the game.
Buckley - 6 He doesn't seem to like playing more centrally.
Dave - 6 We've seen better from Dave.
Ulloa - 7 Showed his strength and held the ball well. Did everything needed except score.
JFC - 7 Supported others well and passed the ball around well.
Barnes - 8 He's gotten faster this season. As usual he put his all in. He made a very good sliding tackle to recover from someone's mistake (Ince?). Took a yellow for the team later on.

That would of been the best goal I'd ever seen. Unbelievable football!
The most structure so far, particularly in the first half - though some of this could be attributed to how poor Birmingham were. In the second they got in our faces a bit and we lost our shape as per Derby. Its still early days, but yesterday was really promising. Defensively we seemed more solid, however in the second half, there was a bit of a gap between the defence and midfield and consequently they had clear shots at goal (hitting the bar twice).

It's very encouraging to see the positive reviews of the new signings and the youngsters. Are we looking at a midfield three of Bridcutt, Agustien and Andrews when all are fit? How would that compare to last year?

Would be a lot stronger and much better fitted for this division. Andrews bossed the midfield the other day. Very impressed.
