Murray for me, not just for his goals but his work-rate and defensive help etc.

Bennett a close second and El Abd a respectable third.

I think any of those listed would have walked it in previous years.

I've gone for Murray, but I'm pleased to say a convincing case could be made for all of the players listed above. It has been a tremendous effort by the entire squad.

How things have changed from 2009 when Whingy won it due to being the only half-decent candidate.

SO difficult this year. El-Abd is CLEARLY the most improved but Bennetts stats on paper, especially the assists, are just BRILLIANT.

I would probably pop for 1 - Benno
2 - El Abd
3 - Murray

But everyone has been bloody awesome

Really tough one. Agree with Walt that there are outstanding candidates, and in addition there has been more of a team ethos than in many a year too.

It seems harsh on consistent performers such as Marcus, Casper and many others who I suspect will get few votes, yet only two years ago it went (deservedly) to Andy Whing, who would not get into this team.

Gone for Muzza myself, a classic centre forward, 21 goals, must have won 8/9 penalties too, just a shame he can't convert them or he would have had 30+ this season. The way he also holds up the line, tracks back and defends has been awesome.

Indeed. A very tricky decision but I went for Bridcutt, ask me tomorrow and I might say someone else. But as has been pointed out, any of those listed would be worthy winners.

As well as Adam and Caspar have played, the most improved player has to be Glenn Murray, who gets my vote.

From a lazy striker with a poor attitude to discipline, he has turned into a 20+ goal scorer, excellent defender at set pieces - 3 towering headers away against D & R - creater of goals for others and does an exceptional amount of chasing back and harrying in midfield when we have lost the ball.

No contest.

El Abd all the way. The defence is a massive part of our success this season and Adam has been the lynchpin of the back five. He's also a Brighton lad who has dug deep to impress a manager who could so easily have cast him aside.

So hard to pick, but I have gone for Murray because out of him, El Abd and Bennett, if one of them was missing, we seem to be able to cope better without Bennett or El Abd. Murray out, we seem to lack an attacking edge, and are not as good at defending set pieces. Obviously the 21 goals speak for themselves, but he is much more than that

Very tough. Painter is in with a shout for me, as are Bennett and Bridcutt, but I'm going to give it to ADAM EL-ABD

I would definitely vote El Abd, if it were a vote for Most Improved. It's not though, so the vote has to go to Murray. Definitely the player we'd be weakest without.
