Empty seats? If we are not able to fill the ground. The corners could be covered in the tarpaulins that are currently in place. Et voila. If a popular team roll into town or we get a big cup tie etc. they are there to be used.

Exactly,no different really, just the option if we need them.

Just go for it I say! If attendances drop in future then you just have offers and incentives to fill the ground, let us not forget there are 1000s of students that live within walking distance of the Amex, £10-15 entry with NUS card, cheap tickets to local schools etc. The stadium would be full for big matches such as Palace, Pompey, Leeds etc anyway.

God you are a complete f***ing retard arn't you, every single post I make, it gets some 1 line, 3 word reply involving a smiley, if you want to try and disprove me, try putting some words together, in legible english with an argument that actually makes sense (few of them so far actually have), and I might start to feel somehow embarrassed, because right now I'm just enjoying your pathetic attention.

Ha, you call me a retard yet it's you who can't spell their hometown correctly! Careful, some people might take offence to that word...

Smilies? Hmm, I think you'll find the:facepalm: was the only one I used during the entire thread, the ??? one is obviously caused by using 3 question marks, and i seem to remember you using the facepalm sometime before i did? (I can check if you want to?)

Legible English? Says the man/boy with more typo's or spelling mistakes than a 4 year old? Again, let's look at the history of this post for example?

So far you have compared us to Darlington and told us how we were are not allowed to have concerts at the stadium, a fact which several others corrected you on yet you choose to ignore?

You say I have answered all your post's with 1, 2 or 3 words? Show me them? Please?

It's clear from other peoples comments that a lot of people think you are a prick, you may be fishing in which case you are doing an incredible job, well done! I answered all your points regarding the first game, the spurs FRIENDLY and the Doncaster tickets (did you ignore those comments?) Yet all you can do is trot out the JCL line. I know MANY people who are casual fans that have not bought tickets for years who would LOVE to have gone to the first game, but were unable to. Who gives a f*** if they haven't been to a game for a few years, the fact remains they couldn't get a ticket BECAUSE IT WAS SOLD OUT!

Come see me at the Amex, I'm not offering you out (although I'm aware others have) it's just easier to talk face to face, don't you think?

good luck at Med School, you're gonna need it...

Er, yes there is. They have to give 10% subject to segregation (i.e. Approximately); 15% in the cup.

No such rigid rule, which is enforced for league games:

Old Trafford is 3,000 out of 76,500. Plenty of other examples of %ages far lower than 10%.

Next question.

Providing the transport infrastructure can cope with the additional capacity I say bung in the extra seats. For cup matches where 15% of capacity has to be given to away fans you would be able to locate them all in the South Stand with the corners filled in. The corners at the North Stand end wouldn't have as many seats because of the external access points that cant be blocked. With the number on the waiting list for STs the upper tier on the East Stand wouldn't be empty. If need be drag a "seagull logo" tarpaulin over the corner seats if they're not going to be used.

Perry said at the FF that they will be doing a joint application for both the extra capacity and the new training ground. If the extra seats don't get approved (say because of transport issues) won't this delay the new training ground?

I don't see how that's possible - they are separate proposals on different land. They might be submitting both applications at the same time, but no that wouldn't delay the new training ground.

Yes it did seem strange, perhaps it's two at the same time as you suggest.

not forgetting there is a waiting list for season tickets

About 500 strong according the ticket office today. Plus around 100 on the 1901 waiting list, although these may not be additional tickets just people moving from elsewhere.

I'd warn against this, given the complete lack of demand I've seen so far for tickets, Donny hardly sold out fast did it?

Maybe put in the application, but don't act on it until we need it, i.e. get promotion.

I'm sit ting in Hustpierpoint at the moment and I have to tell you that there's a bloody big cloud descended over the place.

Perry probably meant they are handing the two proposals over to the developers as one project to seek permission at the same time, but they would definitely be separate applications and be considered on their own merits.

Only by agreement with the clubs they play. If they DEMANDED more, they'd have to give them.

Only by agreement with the clubs they play. If they DEMANDED more, they'd have to give them.

But the reality (rather than an alleged rule in a book) is that many clubs give tiny proportions to away fans, so going back to the original thread on this issue, Brighton going to 30,500 does not necessarily mean making a larger away allocation.

2,553/30,500 being 8.37% is very generous, compared to a stack of other grounds.

Why would you send a planning application for the Amex to Adur District Council and one for a Training Ground in Lancing to Brighton and Hove Council?

The way i see it a lot of people gave up a lot of time and money to fight for this club to survive, myself included, if they hadn't the likes of Hustpierpoint Seagull wouldn't be spouting all this shit in the first place.

I'm guessing that you are a pretty young guy, Hustpierpoint Seagull, as you are going to Med School as others have said, therefore you would have been too young to go through what we had to, thats not your fault, but for you to then turn round and call anyone else a JCL is quite frankly absurd. Just because you have your season ticket sorted doesn't give you the right to spout off about others who dont have purchase history. As i stated earlier if i hadn't gone to the two aforementioned games i wouldn't have any purchase history, and according to you that would make me a JCL, even though you wouldn't have a club to support if it hadn't been for the thousands of people, like me, who got off their arses to do something about it.

If one person who stood up against Archer, Stanley and Bellotti back in the Goldstone days, but hasn't been since and fancies going again, but cant get a ticket, then that is one too many. Put the seats in.
