My missus makes a lovely steak and ale pie with Newcastle Brown mixed into the gravey, a bit of blue cheese melted in, chunky mushrooms and onions and a nice PUFF pastry.

Good thread. Anything involving the words Beer, Ale, and Steak. Although I am also partial to a Fish Pie. Also Mushrooms.

Most pies really. Just not chicken.

Fish or steak and kidney. Although I don't eat many pies as they tend to give you heart disease and make you fat and then you die.

I went to that Pie place near the Komedia and there was no gravy. By the time she had made some up I had finished my dry disgusting pie. poor show. I will be avoiding it in future for that reason and for the fact that pies give you heart disease make you fat and then you die.

I HATE kidney. It tastes like RUBBER.
When my mum gave me steak and kidney pie, I would pick all the kidney out and leave it on the side of my plate. Kidney is the DEVILS organ.
