The Crown has apparently been sold to a local hotelier and is to be refurbished as a pub.

It looked like this, the last time I saw it:-

Personally, I've always preferred the Green Man, but that might be something to do with the badly twisted ankle that I suffered once, as a result of falling over a pothole in front of the Crown.

I knew I knew this pub. Obviously it's the Wheatsheafe! And it is tucked away in Crowborough. Prob the only decent pub in the town.

...Although I don't have a pic of it I think it is fair to point out that the Coopers Arms over the other side of town is the only other decent pub.
 


I was heading towards The Bush Inn - but it hasn't got a colour!
Shaves thatch makes me titter.
One for the smutty would be the Cock Inn - but again, no colour.

But I give up. West Sussex is not my patch.

OK.

I'll let you have the name of the pub. All you now need to find is the name of the village.
