Was looking for Gus as I approached the start line, there seemed to be a gap on the right hand side, so I made a quick sideways move for a bit of Gus skin on skin.

He slapped my hand, the pain was almost sexual..........................

Gus loos far too happy considering what happened yesterday! Thing I saw you [MENTION=88]Bob![/MENTION], was your time about 4.30?

Time was 4.17, but as it took about 13 mins to cross the line, I would have got to the finish as the clock showed 4.30.

If the shirt had BOB on the front then it was me.

I'm 46 and managed 4.28. I was trying for 4.15 but lost the pacemaker at about mile 18. Well done on your time and good luck in your next race. Rather you than me!

I was aiming for 4.15 as well, didn't see the pacemaker though.

I must have started too far back, as I passed 2 lots of 4.30 pacers in the first half. Had to go on the pavement at about mile 10 to get round the hoards following them!

All the pacemakers started at the front and we were quite a way back so the first couple of miles we were trying to catch him up which was probably partly possible for not keeping up later on! Would have made sense for the 4.15 to have started half way back in the 4.00-4.30 wave.
