The directors loan money into the club, unfortunatley they've a cat in hells chance of getting it back because the pot is empty. It may be classed as a loan but unless the club get a massive by out they've effectively given it to the club. The shares are worthless. The loan is secured against the club ... which is worthless. The directors and other smaller investors basically keep the club alive each season by promising to put in a specified amount of funds each season.

I was hoping that someone would ask about Hammond's contract. I agree that Bas shouldn't be the clubs highest paid player but I wouldn't mind if Hammond was. DK needs to get serious about negotiating with him - not just saying 'here it is, take it or leave it'. I called up but they couldn't get me on but I would have thought someone else would have been as interested.

As someone who runs our club I would prefer it if he kept a cool and collected head. Not start flouncing off at the first sign of difficulties. I prefer my leaders to rise above such things.....not get agitated.
