Pesto - how can I use it best-o?

I'm eating pesto right now! I used it with a bit of pasta and some leftover sausages which I've CHOPPED up. It's pretty good actually.

The office STINKS now though.

What about actually making the pesto itself? Anyone? Also, surely there's all different types of pesto, not just one.
