Has anyone tried Earl Grey made using Darjeeling rather than the usual black tea? Quite hard to come by, especially in the shops, and not cheap, but quite a thing of beauty.

How many people use a teapot nowadays as opposed to a tea bag.

i have for about last 6weeks, it was a spur of the moment thing, was shopping and saw pack of twinings loose leaf and thought fck it lets give it ago, bought all the gear tea pot and strainer etc and havnt looked back lol its funny until youve had loose leaf you dont realize how weak tea bags are, they taste of nothing...

at first i didnt even know how to make loose leaf tea, like a **** i thought you put the tea in the strainer, then put the strainer over the pot and pour the water of the strainer haha
