On the plus side , think this makes it even more likely a new striker is incoming , especially as Andone off as well .

The Argus aren’t giving up on this idea either:

“Albion remain interested in Benfica forward Darwin Nunez although his club have earned a financial boost valued at an initial £31 million by reaching the group stages of the Champions League.”

According to reports in South Africa, we’ve sold him for 32 million South African Rand which works out at about £1.5 million so less than what we paid for him.

Oh well, win some, lose some - maybe. I wonder how many shirts we sold in South Africa?

if he takes all the south African fans with him that will be well worth it they drive me mad on social media I've blocked about 150 of them so far

There will have been loan fees paid by USG, Bruges and Anderlecht. It's also another salary off the P&L/Cash flow.

The Ben White fee allows us to make small loses on other players to get them off the books.

Always a punt. Never looked close to the level we need to push on. Good luck to the guy.
Recruitment department has done really well trimming this squad.
It had got absolutely enormous.

At the end of my tether
Isn't it a pity, given all the time and effort it took to get him over here?
I bow to GP's judgement of course and if it was going to happen then it is best done quickly. He seems a lovely guy. Check out the squad pics on tbe club site , all tbe others try and look cool but Percy? He has a beaming smile!
Good luck mate from us...

Seemed like a decent bloke and shame it didn’t work, but obviously didn’t show enough in training. Was always a punt but given the league he’s moved to shows that he wasn’t premier league (or top European league) level. Good luck to him
