Over there

Me too, when I started my new job 6 months ago I thought this was bizarre as my payday with other jobs was allways the end of the month.
Anyway, the programme in question, I don't know why I watch these bloody shows as it depresses the shite out of me. Why the hell do people act the way they do? A few drinks inside them and they act like f***ing cavemen

You sound surprised?

Don't think for a moment that Blackpool is any worse than Brighton in that respect.

You would know and confront much more in a week than i would ever my lifetime. But even though I know its out there, YES it does surprise me and no I don't think for one minute Blackpool is any worse than Brighton. Just these shows bring human nature into sharp focus and it depresses the crap out of me.

How do you balance that with what I assume are monthly household bills?

Me and my girlfriend have a joint account for all bills which we pay into monthly, always plenty in there as we contribute more than we need to. We used the excess from last year to buy x2 14 day ultimate disney tickets!

Well I am the worst so far. Since being taken over by a plc, we have inilaterally been moved from a healthy 25th to the 1st of the next month!

See below:
"Monthly payments will then be paid on the 1st of each month or the next working day. E.g. In the event of a bank holiday weekend if the 1st falls on a Saturday the payment day would be Tuesday 4th. However, the payment for month of December will be made prior to the festive break."

In fact, if April 1st was on Good Friday, it would be the 5th.
When we changed last month, it meant that we received no payment during the month of September.
Is anyone worse than this ?

15th. Thought it was bizarre that those people in that programme thought nothing of spending their 'payday' cash in one night on booze leaving themselves without food or unable to pay bills for the rest of the week.
