Morphed into Bad Company. Paul Kossoff, guitarist, died of drug related causes. His dad was David Kossoff and if you remember him you are definitely showing your age!

Technically speaking you are correct in that they did only have one hit single so could be classified under the umbrella term "one hit wonders" although that would not reflect a true representation of their achievements. Not having a hit single doesn't preclude you from being a very successful recording artist. Led Zeppelin have never had what could be classified as a hit single but are one of the most successful recording artists of all time. Even respected singer songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen have never had hit singles in their own right.

Wishing Well made number 7 in 1973 - not sure about My Brother Jake but I would guess top 20 ?
