The best team that Oldham have played but lets keep our feet on the ground, how many matches played and who have they met?
Peterborough who beat them 5-2. Says a lot?

Were you sitting in block G, on the end by block H? For some reason, I thought I recognised your voice from the phone in!
Yep, and the woman who answered said I was the first person who had phoned!
Will have to agree on that, how he didn't get sent off for swinging a punch at Barnes when his shirt was over his head is incredible. Disgraceful, and ultimately he got his commupance.
Bit of context, Sheebo. I scored a late winner for my 5 a side team last week in a bit of a relegation dogfight, and obviously there were a couple of congratulatory swear words thrown about in the heat of the moment.
their number 18 ran him close for biggest prick though
Because of Calderon's celebrations at the final whistle, in front of the Oldham bench. Frankly, that moment turned affection into pure manlove for that man. Such passion and desire, and he was one of the first after Sandaza to celebrate the winner too!
He sent his thugs in to do a job, fair play to him, he's an honest pro, he acknowledges class when he sees it!
There was soooooooo much niggle on that pitch today. Calde and their player at the end were exchanging words. Dickovs number 2 seemed a right TWAT and was having words with Maurray when he got subbed. Lots of chasing the ref from Oldham too. They were DIRTY IMO.
I really don't understand, why everybody thinks Oldham were an bunch of thugs today? I thought they played some decent football, and at times looked very quick on the break espically the first goal, which tore our midfield to pieces. Did you see an two footed lunge? I didn't, did you see a scissor tackle? I didn't. Yes they liked to put the boot in, and were very physical, but they weren't thugs.
What do you think this is Netball?!
Yep, I was Block G, Row L. I asked someone for the Nottingham Forest score at half time, how bizarre would it be if that was you!

I dont know if they were thugs, or just bad at tackling/football. Certainly some of them were huge. But I clearly remember a shocking tackle on Bennett, a poor lunge on Calde, a kick in the face for Painter and a lot of dubious arm action in the air which the ref never really noticed/acted upon. And lets not forget the Barnes incident.
Never said that there were two footed lunges or scissor tackles however they were over physical in a vast number of challenges, the incident with Barnes and their No.2 was a red card for a number of other ref's but not today's. Its the way it goes. If you want to single out scissor type challenges, how would you describe the challenge on calderon which resulted in a booking. Late? Dangerous or just unlucky or badly timed?
You are correct, they could also play the ball on the deck and yes I agree with you on the 1st goal however, they knew what they needed to do to try and stop us and IMHO it was thuggish.
ps. I dont think its netball -
He was - Kish wasn't.I'm SURE El HABD was booked for kicking ball away type thing...?
The tackle on Calderon was definitely late, but wasn't dangerous. We're going to expect alot of sides like Oldham to come here and stop us playing. So expect it to happen alot in the next few games.
Ha! Nope, wasn't me. Were you with some guy who left about 4 or 5 minutes before the end?
Oh hell no! Haha, never leave before the end. I had Bennett 7 on my shirt, if that helps?!
I hope everyone saw the Calderon celebrations at the end, if not, if you missed out. Brilliant show of passion and celebration! And he was the first to head over to the fans at Plymouth aswell. Captain Calderon
