I don't think this is award is just about what PBOBE has done for Brighton's Woman team, but because he has been championing woman's football for a long time. I think he deserves this award.

Its not just the Albion , or playing womens football , but increasing representation, participation and involvement in al levels of football both on/off the pitch.

We are one of the few clubs to have a distinct infrastructure for the Women's team, with its own Leadership and training facilities, etc. What we do need is a stadium for the Women's team to be built in Brighton and Hove and for the team on the pitch to be worthy of the investment but that will take time and evolution.
