Gross is an absolutely magnificent player, an absolute Rolls royce, consistently covers the most distance of any of our players as well, which people don’t give him enough credit for.

Must be, overall, our best ever PL player? Yes we’ve had better individual talents but as an overall impact on the team and longevity there’s no contest IMO.

A truly outstanding player.

This. He's contributed so much, and now GP's worked him out he's delivering as much as he delivered that first season.

We've been saying that about so many different players every summer for the last 5 seasons.
It's never happened.

There's absolutely nothing to suggest next season will be any different.

We really need a song for him

Also an argument that a player whose game is more brains and technique over physique/athleticism, is now hitting his peak in his early 30s.

Might not necessarily have felt like it to a lot of fans at the time, but Gross signing that new 2-year deal could well have been the best bit of transfer business we’ll do this summer.

Magnificent again from Pacal Gross. I think the answer with him is to get him up the pitch as far as possible. We've not used him at his best in the past as a winger or centre mid. Get him up with and around Welbeck all season. Goals and wins will strangely come our way

I was elated with that, it got the summer break off to a great start, it felt like a new (proven player) signing, after he ditched alleged plans to return home.

He finished last season magnificently.

Looking at our first EPL season, the best thing about Pascal (other than the Groß-Turn) is his shooting. Now that he has got permission to play very high, his shooting is still first class.

Still in Brighton
When you think how much we paid for him and the contribution he's made in those seasons since.... and then the selling figure for Cucurella.... it's quite extraordinary really. Bonkers value we have got from him.
