Just a matter of agreeing the fee.

Whilst there is 6 weeks to get the deal done, I fear he’ll be a Dortmund player by next week.

I think Albion fans are fairly unanimous in that he has been our best and most influential player since he joined us.

Frankly, (I wouldn’t normally say this….about opinions etc), but anyone who can’t or hasn’t been able to see what Pascal has brought to the team, throughout his time here, knows very little about football.

Totally agree. And it will be really sad that he never got to say goodbye in the way Ali Mac did.
Hopefully he will get the chance to attend a home game early in the season, so fans can show their appreciation.

If Groß and Gilmour are off, do we keep Dahou or Moder? Both missed out on the tour as I suspect they are concentrating on moves out.

I’d still prefer Gomez and another new senior midfielder though.

I don't hthink I'd have to look too far back on NSC to find quotes about him being too slow, get rid and "every manager picks him but I can't see it" quotes.

I agree, almosy unanimous on NSC now that he is going and definitely far fewer begative posts as people have come to understand his value, but NSC has not been universally supportive over the years by any means.

Losing Mac and Moises was a big blow to our midfield and it showed last season. I think loosing Groß would be worse unless we can get a ready made replacement.

Unfortunately he was a victim of his own flexibility with him being moved all over the park , personally thought his best position was as a 10 . Also thought it was wrong (imbalanced) to start him and Lallana in the same team .

Was he a great player for us, the answer is undoubtedly yes but he did have some bad patches. lack of speed was also an issue but to be fair if he had a turn of speed he probably would have played for a bigger German club.

Hope he changes his mind but playing in his native country, for a big club with champions league football makes it a 'no brainer'

I think people have questioned his pace, but very few have questioned his ability, so differ to you on that.

Edit - I think everyone knows he’s not fast in terms of pace, but intellectually he’s one of the quickest in our team.

Those that bothered staying after the last game of the season gave him a bit of a send off as I think a lot thought he would be off, I'm sure in hindsight many would wish the god like staged exit for Bruno hadn't happened. In the days of zero testimonial matches very few "legends" get a proper send off nowadays.

I thought his poor set pieces last season were much worse than any lack of pace, most of them, especially in the second half of the season were shit imo

At the risk of being seen as controversial both Barco and Gilmour were more threatening on the limited number of occasions they got to take them
