From the reports I would say he has signed a legally enforceable pre contract agreement as he cant actually sign until 1st July.

What you mean it's provisionally signed in invisible ink.
Then come July1st, Chris Hughton makes it reappear by waxing lyrical

I would say he has signed but that cannot be submitted for transfer or ratification by either the Premier League or either country FA until 1st July when it will be officially submitted

Does anybody know if he normally takes pens, or was he given this one as it was his farewell game? ???

BUT. Have we really singed him, or just promised to? In other words, can he be pinched by someone else swooping in? (It all seems too easy for us)
The albion have announced it - so it is 100% definite, and he would have signed a contract which is subject to international clearance being given ( formality ).

No one can hijack the deal unless they pay albion a normal transfer fee.

Hughton has confirmed that Pascal Gross will play the number 10 role for us, do you guys think we will also be signing another striker to play ahead of him? or stick with Murray & Hemed for that....?

Erm, if we want to stay up, as I'm sure we do, then sticking with just Murray and Hemed as the main attacking force will not be the solution. So, in short, yes we will be signing one or possibly two strikers. :)

2 more strikers - 1 of which may be under 21 ( Brown or Abraham ).
