If restrictions are applied then all it will do is move the so called problem elsewhere. Many people just can't do without the car for many reasons and provided they act responsibly when selecting a parking space that is all that is required. Simply put people do not own that piece of road in front of their dwelling unless it's a private road.
Exactly, I had a flat in Goldstone Rd for 3 years,.... I just knew that parking was a lottery on matchdays, but it was for 3 hours give or take, three times a month -ish..... big deal.... you adjust.
