aha, true colours and that bitterness comes out again. Both days I went (handball, hockey, cycling) everywhere was packed and atmosphere going up there on the train, interacting with all the volunteers and the crowds, painting my gf's face while we sat in the Olympic park, brilliant. One of the most memorable days of my life. But maybe that didn't come across well on Swedish tv...Cool ceremony then half-empty stadiums and eerily quiet for three weeks of Olympics. Could always hope for the opposite here.
Yup. Resulting in many events having massive gaps in the stand.

They should release chickens this time. They don’t use live doves since they all got fried when they released them in South Korea's stadium and they landed on the Olympic flame contraption just as they lit it!
All I managed to get in the ballot (which was massively oversubscribed) was some hockey….and that was a couple of lower-ranked non-medal games. It was rammed. The whole complex was rammed. Several mates were volunteers….it was the same throughout the games.Yup. Resulting in many events having massive gaps in the stand.
