The Google Earth pictures are quite old (it still shows Maine Road for Man Citys ground). They only started building Palm Island in August 2001, and took 2 years just to complete the breakwater, so I expect it was nowhere near the finished article when the Google Earth pictures were taken.BarrelofFun said:

I think it's a fine idea. The important helmety bit would be for the directors box and season ticket holders, the scrotum for the changing rooms (so the players can be said to be full of SPUNK) while the nearby anus would be a perfect place to put the away fans.
