Some people on hear spouting obscenities have short memories...
Albion did jeust the same at the end of one season, I think 1991/2, by selling Mark Beeney their first-choice goalkeeper to Leeds for about £350k. That kept the club afloat at the time, paid off wages etc.
Ambrose is a steal at £750k and Colin W*nker and his QPR bosses know that. It's just what El Tel did to us in the early 80's so I suppose we can't be surprised. West London spivs.....
What about Eric Young then ? Or Dean Saunders ? Mike Small ? John Byrne ? At least we paid our debts rather than going into Administration which leaves creditors getting a fraction of what they were owed, why is it so few Palace (and Pompey and Leeds) fans get this ?
I might add that El Tel screwed you in under Mark Goldberg, he told me that himself.
