29 employees got the bullet today too, not nice.

Agreed, love or loathe a football club, these are genuine people who don't deserve to be out of a job. It's pretty sad when the total salary of the 29 combined is probably only the same as one or two first team players' salaries.

Very true. Makes you wonder how bad it's getting, as these wages compared to the £750k from Ambrose will be peanuts.

lets not forget that palace have not played one season away from selhurst park or played in the lower two divisions since the 70s. They have no idea what a club in trouble is although they might be about to find out. Palae fans have not put up much of a show have they, not exactly Brighton v York is it?

It really frustrates me that tin pot clubs like QPR were saved from administration and now are one of the richest clubs in the world.

We weren't saved from administration at all, Chris Wright put us in administration, screwed us big time and we must be one of the only clubs to come out of administration financially worse off than when we went into it.

He heroically agreed to wipe out 50% of what we owed him, debts he'd effectively run up himself, and in return he left us with a £10m mortgage with an interest rate of 10% and took our training ground. At one of the AGMs he apparently agreed that if he ever sold it, he would split any profits 3 ways with QPR & Wasps getting a third each. That was never minuted and not too long after that, a planning application was submitted for housing.

He's a c**t.

What the f*** are we supposed to do?Have a go at jordan so he votes against the CVA.
Agilo who are owned by some sebian who is very erratic, lives abroad and could shut us down just like that.
March up and down?against who.
Have a go at the prospective buyers who would then just f*** off.
Good idea from you we should have tried to get a game abandoned so we would lose points and be in a lower division than we are. That would make us attractive to any buyer.
You keep on about what you lot did, though I doubt you personally did sweet F .A., but they were completely different circumstances.

Plenty of you have slagged Palace off for effectively cheating by going into administration. I don't know how many times it needs to be said but Agilo PUT us into administration. Jordan was the catalyst behind our financial turmoil but it's well publicised that Agilo hit the panic button and now we're suffering even more as a result.

So you think that cheating only happens when a business decides to put itself into administration rather than an outstanding debtor decides that the situation cannot continue and seeks to get its money back through either putting the business into administration or winding that business up and selling off the assests to raise money to pay off outstanding debts.

You think that a club with a limited income which then still deliberately chooses to spend more in wages and transfer fees that its total income each season isn't at fault. If it had operated within its means, the standard of players you would have would have been lower, and the likelyhood is that your club would have been relegated from the Championship several seasons ago - therefore by spending more money than the club had, the club have cheated to secure a higher league position than they would otherwise have occupied and higher than similar sized clubs who decided to run their clubs properly by balancing the books and operate like a business (which football clubs are after all) thus ensuring the long term survival rather than having a false league position but risk administration and possibly going out of business completely.

You were building a ground that you could not possibly have paid for.It was only due to a local man with more money than sense that it is being built. No way can you pay that money back.

Sh*t odds, hence why you should bet on us staying up. If we somehow do, you'll be disappointed but have enough money to go out on the piss

I'm not expecting us to stay up at all. We did it back in 2000 though, finished 15th playing the kids who went on to play non league football! The only thing we don't have that we had then is Sir Steve

That's rich, what about Noades, Goldberg or Tangoman ? You thought they were you great white hope. The difference between you and us is that we have paid our creditors, we are not trying to rob people, I mean how would you like to go out to work and then be told you will only get ONE PENNY of every pound you've earned ? People like you have mocked this club many times since we went into decline but now we are coming out of it. Don't make an issue of the fact we have a wealthy benefactor as frankly you'd be delighted with a hand out from Osama Bin Laden right now.

and that my little south london pikey is because he doesn't expect it back, hence it's unsecured and effectively a gift. As I undertsand it, it basically paid for, no one ends up out of pocket ... apart from Tony Bloom.

What i find particularly funny (though not ha ha), is that The Orange one (until last year) was held up as the best thing since sliced bread, the voice of reason within the footballing world, a man of honesty and integrity ..... oh the irony

Just like his predecessors and the likes of Master Bates at Leeds or Sam Hamman at Cardiff.
