I can't get excited about either this or Charlton. We're going to get thumped at Palace when Poyet yet again proves he's got no bottle in the big games and the prospect of going to another shit part of London a week later is less than appealing.

A lot can happen in 3-4 weeks, I really think there is little to fear with Palace. At worst we will just contain them, their bubble will soon burst...

Exactly. I'm doing Palace out of duty but Charlton can f*** off. I'd feel a bit of a plum if we won at Palace and I wasn't there, so it's almost a case of having to go. But I'm not expecting to see anything other than us being ripped to shreds and Murray notching at least one. Blackburn will be the highlight of following the Albion in December for sure.

You really are Mr. Positive aren't you. I know we're on a poor run, but christ alive, reading your take on things you'd think we were dead certs for relegation. We've played 14 games.

By comparison, last year after 14 odd games I think Palace were 4th or something like that. Look what happened to them after that.
