The fanzone is going to cause a LOT of trouble along with creating this ridiculous one way system , I am one of hundreds at each game that have trouble walking very far these days and am going to be walking far enough on match day without playing some weird version of Ring O Ring of Roses round The Amex to get a train .We get kept in then kettled away at Selhurst EVERY year, why can't the same happen to that lot here?
But because for whatever reason they don't then you keep the home exits closed....... You 'get rid' of 3k then open the home exits.
Alternatively, you keep 3k back, let 27k start queuing for trains, buses etc or just hang about in the concourse bars..... then you let 3k morons out en masse. Which is more likely to then cause an incident?
I would rather that than the even more crazy one way system. I was caught up in that outside the east in 2022 with my kids, it was no laughing matter, that was caused by the police blocking the exit past the NE corner towards the trains and idiot stewards allowing fans to exit and turn towards that corner, which is exactly what the fanzone is going to do.
Personally i don`t care how long they keep them back - as long as it takes to clear the home fans , if they bloody well behaved they could enjoy a beer with us afterwards like all sensible fans do , not that i expect a conga line like with the Naaarrrch lads
