Eric’s kung fu kick on a fan was a shocking incident, it was unlike anything anyone had ever seen at a professional football match, still is. The fact he kicked a palace fan makes it both shocking and (for Brighton fans) really funny. Now Eric was a prick and still is, but him flying through the air to smash a palace thicko made superb viewing.
