the reason for the 'delay' is that They now have to go through a third stage of approval, the dark 100! When they have decided what the club can do they will make an announcement by banging on their drum.

I do though like his comment that 'things are sliding' they certainly are ......

Providing great viewing of Benteke and Sorloth banging in the goals.:lolol:

They can use it as an opportunity to upgrade the speakers within the stadium, as they appear to be broken. There have been numerous complaints that the goal music is inaudible this season.

They may have to trial music to each Zaha dive or Benteke/Sorloth shot that hits row Z. Should keep them busy.

Latest update on Smelhurst Park.

Footage has been released on the internet, on the latest developments to Smelhurst Park.
It's looking quite modern, in a drab sort of way :D

Well then. Four years+ since the announcement and not a single, hi viz, hard had or steel toe capped boot has been on site.

Funny how the video was posted before the planning application was lodged.

What with Brexit, Covid and Ukraine, I wonder what the revised total cost estimate will become?

I feel a bit sorry for the decent fans.

It took us less than 4 years to build an entire stadium once planning permission was given. Let’s see how long it takes them to build one stand…

I saw this bounced and assumed they agreed to start work. Thought I’d see Parish with a hard hat on breaking ground or something. Maybe in the summer? Of 2078?
